Ravi is the business head of Special Projects Group. It is
his responsibility to grow this segment of business with cutting edge, advanced
and innovative security solutions that will allow us to maintain the position
of leadership in large and special projects.
An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, he is a post graduate in Defence
Studies from the prestigious Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He
served for 20 long years in the Indian Navy. He commanded two front line
missile warships and was the first Indian Naval Attaché to Seychelles, where he
set up the regional Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center. After
seeking premature retirement from the Navy, he completed his post graduation in
Disaster Management and joined FOCUS Humanitarian in 2003. Little did he
realize that providence and destiny would soon conspire to use all his skills,
education and experience in the tragic aftermath of the devastating Tsunami
that struck India on 26 December 2004. He spearheaded the Rescue, Relief and
Rehabilitation efforts of the organization that benefited more than 6000
families. Thereafter he did a two year stint with the Indian Express Group as
General Manager HR and Administration. He joined Zicom in September 2006.
He is a voracious reader and an avid Golfer, who constantly seeks to align the
‘‘clock of his daily activities” with the “compass of his long term plans.” |
